Sweet Selina is an affectionate ex-racing Greyhound who is looking forward to spending the rest of her life at the heart of a loving family instead of running around a track. She's sharing her kennel with another Grey and they happily play together with no arguing over toys or space and we think she'd love to live with another if any Greyhound owners are looking for another to add to their family. We often see her in her kennel flinging soft toys around and keeping her self entertained, and she loves her treats too. Greyhounds can be notorious counter-surfers so best make sure the good stuff is kept away in the kitchen cupboards! Selina is friendly toward most dogs but her nature is to chase anything small and furry, and she nearly took off after a Beagle that she had introduced herself to because he moved quickly! She wears a muzzle on walks to protect our wildlife and small furry friends, and she's totally cool with this having worn one most of her life, and her tail never stops wagging.

Greyhound Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Greyhound.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
