Description

Tigger's ideal home

Tigger is a lively, curious boy who is waiting to bounce into his new life! He gets very excited when he first sees a human but quickly quietens down and carries on sniffing and exploring. Tigger likes the company of his humans but isn’t keen on being fussed or over-handled. For this reason he’s best suited to a home where the youngest people are older teenagers who will respect his space. Tigger is friendly with other dogs, though not particularly interested in interacting much. He could live with a calm dog who isn’t going to expect much from him. Any match would be subject to a successful mix in centre prior to rehoming.

Could you be Tigger's perfect match?

The wonderful thing about Tigger is that Tigger’s a wonderful dog! He’s 3yrs old and came to us with no history. Tigger is quite independent and does settle in kennels when left. In a new environment, and without knowing if he’s ever been in a home, he’ll appreciate time left alone to be built up from scratch though. Tigger has proved himself to be fully housetrained while in our care, and has really good associations in and around the car, jumping in of his own accord. He loves going for walks and having nice long sniffs. He’s a lovely fun boy who will make a great addition to the right home.

Greyhound Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Greyhound.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
