Description

Patch's ideal home

Patch is a beautiful girl by both in looks and in nature. She can feel a bit nervous when meeting new people so would appreciate patient owners who will allow her the time to settle in a build a relationship. Due to her nervous side, Patch will not be able to live with/have any visiting children. Patch would like to be the only pet in the home but she enjoys going for walks with her best friends, zooming around in off lead areas and receiving joint fuss from her carers. She would benefit from a quieter household as she enjoys the peaceful side of life. So that she can enjoy off lead time with her family she would love a private and secure garden to enjoy with her family.

Could you be Patch's perfect match?

Patch is a wonderfully goofy and playful girl. Although it can take her some time to open up, once she knows you, she will greet you with a proper wiggle and a happy tail. Patch adores exploring new places and dipping her toes in the water at the local lake. She is a super clever girl who loves putting her brain to the test with different types of training and enrichment activities. She adores going for short runs before continuing on a chilled walk with her favourite friends. Patch is still learning about toys and enjoys chasing after them if thrown but won’t always bring them back! Patch can often be found chilling on her bed in the strangest positions. She is a real softie at heart and would love a quiet home where she can relax and put her paws up.

Greyhound Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Greyhound.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
